As Goro returns to Mifune after 3 years, things have become quite different. Not long after the reunion of childhood friend including Komori, Goro learns that the baseball club of the school is about to cease to exist. Despite seeing how hard Komori is working to make sure that doesn't happen, things head for the worse as Komori's hope, Goro, joins the soccer club!

Preparing for the battles to come, tournaments and to fight against new opponents from over the world, Hakufu is working to have enough money to make her dream true. This drama is set in the late 1960s decade of Japan. The main rivalry depicted in the story is between Manpyo Daisuke (Kitaoji Kinya), a powerful banker, and his eldest son, Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the executive managing director of a steel firm. For some reasons, Daisuke seem to dislike his own son and as Teppei seems to find out the reason for Daisuke's hatred, his whole life is turned upside down with fatal consequences.
